# Mini Mi

> Mini Mi is web-based point-of-sale (POS), inventory and customer software for retail shops in India, made by Softynex. It bills at the counter, keeps stock and customer accounts, prints GST tax invoices and barcode labels, and connects to Tally.

## What it does

- Billing at the counter: barcode or search, split payments (cash, UPI, card), credit sales to customers, returns, held bills, cancelling a bill, discounts and coupons.
- GST tax invoices: printed on an 80 mm receipt with the tax split into CGST and SGST for each rate, the amount in words, and the shop logo.
- Inventory: items with sizes and colours as variants, bulk import from Excel, stock in, adjustments, a daily opening and closing stock register, low-stock warnings.
- Barcode: works with USB barcode scanners; prints barcode labels on a label roll.
- Customers: accounts with what they owe, receiving payments against dues, a ledger for each customer.
- Purchasing: suppliers, purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Cash drawer: shifts with a float, cash in and out, and a count at the end of the day.
- Reports: sales, items, customers, payments, returns, stock valuation, outstanding dues and a day-end report, with export to Excel.
- Roles and permissions: separate rights to view, create, edit, delete and export for each part of the application.

## Integrations

- Tally: a JSON REST API for masters (items, customers, suppliers), purchase vouchers coming in, and sales, credit-note and receipt vouchers going out.
